On July 2, 2009, one of the largest Ukrainian book stores, "Bukva," hosted a book signing, so we decided to put on a show for the unsuspecting public. With real sub-machine guns.

The unsuspecting Bukva Customers interrupted their shopping in order to listed to stories of crime and corruption in the 1990's

At least one curious customer was not afraid of the author or his heavily armed security team

Some girls are into lipstick, others love machine guns

A fair warning (to a straying husband?) is delivered with brutal honesty

The security made sure that my book signing was a very special event

All in all, everyone commented that the book presentation was a huge success
